    I like Marc and Nan’s shots.

    Nan looks focused. Is that Boris at the background watching the game?

    The movement blur effect on Marc’s pic accentuates a “busy” atmosphere yet is able to show the face of the birthday boy. Awesome shot.

    @jozzua: thanks! critiques were appreciated. actually as i’ve said above, nan and boris were the subjects though intentionally blurred boris. Both of them were preparing to do whatever they intend to do. cheers! :d

    Seriously… I like the “Paglalayag” the feeling was present. If only you can crop the 2 bamboo sticks out.

    @RC: thanks for the critique rc! yeah I saw your shots. they’re great! you’re really becoming a pro in photography. great job!

    with regard to the bamboo sticks, I intentionally included them onto the shot. It’s what the pro’s call the “framing” technique. Something I’ve learned from Sir Allan Florendo’s class over Kolektib.
